PUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETINGS ON THE PLACE OF DESIGN IN THE MONTREAL CULTURAL POLICY.
The elected representatives have recently adopted the draft for the Cultural Development Policy 2017-2022 and asked the Commission on “Culture, le Patrimoine et les Sports” to hold a public consultation on the orientations of this new policy in the spring of 2017.
The Commission on “Culture, le Patrimoine et les Sports” also invites Interior Designers to take part in a public consultation on a draft 2017-2022 cultural development policy titled “Savoir conjuguer la créativité et l’expérience culturelle citoyenne à l’ère du numérique”.
“The 2017-2022 cultural development policy project continues to place culture at the center of the city’s priorities and proposes an integrated and transversal vision based on three main actions : to gather, to stimulate and to shine. A new cultural development policy was particularly needed because of the digital revolution which will help Montreal to position at the forefront of creative cities and where new technologies will be put to services of Montreal citizens”
