Applicants must have completed a college diploma (DEC) *, or equivalent, or a postsecondary diploma from a recognized institution ** or university degree in interior design or environmental design.
The CEGEP (Colleges of General and Vocational Education) is the first level of higher education in Quebec, the second being the university. The colleges provide two types of programs: programs of technical studies which are primarily designed according to the labor market, although they also provide access to university and pre-university programs that prepare students for university. Both programs lead to a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS).
