Thank you for your interest in our Association.  The Association of Professional Interior Designers of Quebec is the only organization to govern the title of ‘’Certified Interior Designer APDIQ’’ by means of an accreditation.

If you have the required diploma and have been active within the interior design field for more than three (3) years and have a significant work experience, you can become a certified member.  The membership fees are 493.00$ + taxes per year, from January 1st to December 31st. Being a certified member gives you access to a load of advantages that is described in the member section, as well as the right to vote at the annual general meeting and the opportunity to be elected as an administrator or leader.

0-3 years - Provisional member - Download application form

If you have the required diploma and have been active within the interior design field for less than three (3) years and have a significant work experience, you can become a 0-3 yrs Provisional member. The membership fees are $166 the first year +taxes, $256 the second year + taxes, and $356 the third year + taxes, from January 1st to December 31st starting at the date of completion of your studies in interior design. Being a 0-3 years Provisional member gives you access to a load of advantages that is described in the member section, as well as the right to vote at the annual general meeting and the opportunity to be elected as an administrator or leader.

If you have the required diploma and have been active teaching interior design and have significant work experience, you can be a teacher member. The membership fees are 250.00$ per year, from January 1st to December 31st.  To be a teacher member, you need to confirm by letter that you do not have any commercial activities besides your teaching tasks.  Being a teacher member gives you access to a load of advantages that is described in the member section, as well as the right to vote at the annual general meeting and the opportunity to be elected as an administrator or leader.

SIf you are a full time student in interior design and would like to join the Association during the period of your studies, you can become a student member.  There are no membership fees. Once you are registered, you have the privilege to be a student member throughout your interior design studies.  Being a student member gives you access to a load of advantages that is described in the member section.  The student status does not allow you to vote or to be elected.

Renewal

If you are already an APDIQ member, you received a notification of the renewal of your membership before the expiry date of December 31^st. You can get the rebate "Renew before expiration" and receive a discount on the price of your annual membership fee by making a payment to the APDIQ before December 31^st of the current year, the postmark seal will be confirming the date of receipt. It is also possible to pay online via the secure payment system PayPal before December 31^st.

If you plan to have no business of importance during your maternity leave stating the period stops working, you will not have to pay the fee of your membership during this period, you must confirm your change of status.
